White Mountain National Forest, 2023
numbered digital print with handcoloring
signed edition of 25
9” x 10”
$40 (+$5 shipping)

I’ve been steadily chipping away at hiking the 48 4000-foot peaks in the White Mountain National Forest over the last few years. I made this map with checkboxes for all my fellow hikers to track their progress on the NH48. The map is a digital print of an ink drawing hand-colored with marker and watercolor.

Social Distancing, 2020
two-color linocut print
handprinted signed edition of 100
8” x 6”
$70 (+$5 shipping)

This is an image I created from a photo I took of my son during one of our many outdoor adventures in the early days of the 2020 Pandemic. He is standing at the edge of a pond near our home in Maine, missing his buddies. This edition was printed by hand in two colors (silver-gray and black) from two blocks.

Fujisaki Apples, 2019
linocut print
signed edition of 100
15” x 20”
$100 (+$5 shipping)

This linocut was inspired by my October 2019 trip to Aomori, Japan as a member of an artist delegation with the Maine-Aomori Printmaking Society project, organized by Friends of Aomori, the non-profit that supports the sister-state relationship between Maine, USA and Aomori, Japan. Fujisaki is the home of Fuji apples, and we were graciously invited to go apple picking in the personal orchard of the mayor. In the background is majestic Mt. Iwaki, the tallest peak in Aomori prefecture.

This edition of 100 prints was printed in Portland, Maine at Printcraft in November 2019. A percentage of each print sold will be donated to Friends of Aomori. Visit Friends of Aomori to learn more about our delegation visit.

Wreck of the Cheseborough series, 2016
(The Wreck of the Cheseborough, Angel of Shariki, Running to Aomori for Help, Recovery, Aomori Memorial)
seriograph
18” x 12”
$45 each (+$5 shipping) - $200 for full series of 5

This series of images was created for a limited-edition, hand stitched book printed that I wrote and illustrated and printed at Pickwick Independent Press in an edition of 100 for the first MAPS exhibition at Space Gallery in Portland. The book is sold out, but we also printed enlarged images of the five illustrations created for the book. They were printed in a limited edition and there are just a few left of each. The images were exhibited at the Tsugaru Public Library in Tsugaru, Aomori, Japan, in recognition of the anniversary of the wreck of the Cheseborough and the sister-city relationship between Bath, Maine and Tsugaru, Japan, and the sister state relationship between Maine and Aomori.
